Colin Skinner – Composition and arrangement

Composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist Colin Skinner is in demand by orchestras, opera companies, choirs and Big Bands throughout the UK.

His classical compositions are performed by world class ensembles including the London Symphony and John Wilson Orchestras and BBC Singers. 

Colin has arranged hundreds of songs and orchestral works and his catalogue of arrangements can be heard at the BBC Proms, on radio and TV and at concert halls around the country.

World renowned as a lead saxophonist, Colin writes and arranges for all the major Big Bands in the UK including the Glenn Miller and Syd Lawrence Orchestras, BBC Big Band, Echoes of Ellington, Back to Basie and his own award winning band the Skelton Skinner All Stars

Colin will be available to work with any interested students on their own compositions or arrangements during the course.
