Sophie Lockett – violin

Sophie is a renowned professional violinist who regularly performs with the country’s leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia and the London Chamber Orchestra. She studied at The Purcell School and the Royal College of Music and has been the violinist in the internationally acclaimed Barbican Piano Trio since 2009.

Education has played a significant role in Sophie’s career. She holds the position of Head of Performance at Radley College and teaches violin and chamber music at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department and coaches chamber music at Pro Corda and Kings College School Wimbledon.
