String Course

No audition is required for the String Course but candidates must be of at least grade 3 standard. Students will explore string technique and repertoire, rhythm, musicality and composition and will work with our expert faculty as well as having visiting sessions with faculty from the Royal London music conservatoires and leading independent schools including Winchester and Eton Colleges who will work with them, guiding them in their musical development with a view to them joining the Advanced Course (by audition) in future years if they wish.
The String Course will end with a concert for family and friends in Winchester College and students and family are welcome to remain to watch the Advanced Course concert immediately after their concert if they wish.
