This Application form is for the String course ONLY

The Strings Course is for string players grade 3 – grade 7, and is open to all violin, viola, cello and double bass students with day or residential options. No audition is required for participation. The course will consist of string sessions led by our expert faculty, as well as musicianship, percussion and vocal workshops, giving the students a well-rounded and inspiring musical week, interspersed with fun and games alongside the Advanced Course. This course puts great focus on musicianship and aural/harmony/improvisation skills – these are invaluable skills which are greatly valued by schools and conservatoires. Often a student is well prepared technically but lacking the confidence in these areas. This course aims to give the students fun, practical experience in building up these skills, helping develop a more rounded and confident musician.
