Craig Cuyler – Head of Pastoral

Craig Cuyler has been a pastoral care practitioner for almost 25 years and has taught in leading independent schools in both the UK and South Africa. He is currently the Director of Wellbeing and part of the Pastoral Care and Safeguarding Teams at The
Pilgrims’ School in Winchester. Craig has a master’s degree in education, and played a leading role in introducing and promoting Positive Education in South African schools.
He has spent his whole professional life helping young people discover their own unique giftedness and ensuring their emotional and physical wellbeing. He has much experience within residential educational settings, having been a house master for
almost 10 years in South Africa, and latterly fulfilling the role of Assistant House Master at The Pilgrims’ School.
